基质金属蛋白酶3在舌鳞状细胞癌中的表达及其临床意义

摘要:

目的:探讨基质金属蛋白酶3(MMP3)在舌鳞状细胞癌及其配对癌旁组织中的表达及其临床病理学意义。方法:收集病理证实为舌鳞状细胞癌患者的术后标本49例,采用实时荧光定量聚合酶链反应检测癌组织及其配对癌旁组织中MMP3的表达情况,并结合临床信息分析其意义。另外利用生物信息学技术在TCGA公共数据库中挖掘MMP3的表达情况,分析其对患者预后的意义并进行功能富集(GSEA分析)。结果:癌组织中MMP3的表达高于癌旁组织(P<0.05);MMP3高表达促进舌癌的淋巴转移,并与患者较差的预后有关。结论:MMP3在舌癌的发生发展中起重要作用,可能为舌癌治疗的靶向分子。

Objective: To investigate the expression and clinical significance of matrix metalloproteinase 3(MMP3) in tongue squamous cell carcinoma(TSCC). Methods: The expression of MMP3 in 49 cases of pathologically diagnosed TSCC and adjacent normal tissues was detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction, and its significance was analyzed in combination with clinical information of the patients. In addition, the expression of MMP3 in TSCC and normal tissues was explored by bioinformatics technology in the cancer genome atlas(TCGA) database, and its prognostic value for the patients was analyzed. The functional enrichment of MMP3 was evaluated by gene set enrichment analysis(GSEA) simultaneously. Results: The expression of MMP3 in TSCC was significantly higher than that in adjacent normal tissues. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). The elevated expression of MMP3 was associated with lymph node metastasis and poor prognosis of the patients. Conclusion: MMP3 plays a key role in the occurrence and development of TSCC, which might be a target molecule for TSCC therapy.
