Objective:To observe the effect of electroacupuncture combine Jianzhongyuyang Pill on β-endorphin and inflammatory factor in experimental gastric ulcer model rats. Methods:Acetic acid was used to induce gastric ulcer model rats. After modeling, fifty SD rats were randomly divided into sham-operated group, model group, electroacupuncture group, medicine group, combined group(n=10). The rats in the sham-operation group did not receive acetic acid filter paper stimulation, and the other operations were the same. Continuous pulse current was applied to Zusanli and Liangmen of rats in electroacupuncture group with frequency of 2 Hz and intensity of 2 mA. Jiangzhongyuyang Pill was given by gavaging to rats in medicine group (0.70 g·kg-1). Electroacupuncture and Jiangzhongyuyang Pill were adopted at the same time to rats in combined group. Saline was given by gavaging to rats in sham-operated group and model group. Content of β-endorphin in plasma and hypothalamus,content of interleukin-6(IL-6), interleukin-8(IL-8), tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) in serum were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay. Results:Compared to the sham-operated group, content of gastric ulcer injury index, β-endorphin in hypothalamus and IL-6, IL-8, TNF-α in serum were significant increase and the β-endorphin in plasma was significantly reduced (P<0.05). Compared to the model group, content of gastric ulcer injury index, β-endorphin in hypothalamus and IL-6, IL-8, TNF-α in serum were significant decreased and the β-endorphin in plasma was significantly increased (P<0.05). Content of gastric ulcer injury index, β-endorphin in hypothalamus and IL-6, IL-8, TNF-α in serum of combined group rats were lower than those in electroacupuncture group or medicine group. Conclusion:Electroacupuncture plus Jianzhongyuyang Pill is able to cure gastric ulcer by decreasing level of β-endorphin in plasma, results in inflammatory response inhibiting, and its effects are apparently superior to those of simple electroacupuncture or Jianzhongyuyang Pill. |
