Objectives:To evaluate the diagnostic value of WFA+-M2BP in patients with hepatic fibrosis or liver cirrhosis.Methods:A literature search was conducted from the PubMed,Ovid and China Biological Medicine Database (CBM),VIP data network (VIP).The databases were used to identify the Chinese or English literature which were related with the use of WFA+-M2BP in the diagnosis of patients with hepatic fibrosis or liver cirrhosis.The software-Stata version 13.0 was used to analyze the data.Results:A total of six English articles involving 927 patients were identified.The results showed that:(1)The results of Sen,Spe,+LR,-LR,DOR,AUC for WFA+-M2BP to diagnose advanced hepatic fibrosis were 0.78[95%CI(0.67~0.86)],0.86[95%CI(0.77~0.92)],5.50[95%CI(3.60~8.60)],0.26[95%CI(0.18~0.37)],22[95%CI(14~34)] and 0.89[95%CI(0.86~0.91)],respectively.(2)The results of Sen,Spe,+LR,-LR,DOR,AUC for WFA+-M2BP to diagnose early-stage liver cirrhosis were 0.85[95%CI(0.70~0.94)],0.90[95%CI(0.62~0.98)],8.40[95%CI(2.10~33.6)],0.16[95%CI(0.08~0.32)],51[95%CI(17~151)] and 0.92[95%CI(0.90~0.94)],respectively.Conclusion:WFA+-M2BP has a high diagnostic value for hepatic fibrosis and liver cirrhosis.
