Objective:To access the compliance and its influencing factors of the elderly undergoing free physical examination in developed the rural areas of southern Jiangsu. Methods:A questionnaire survey by cluster sampling was conducted to descriptively analyze and investigate the medical compliance and its influencing factors of the elderly people aged 65 years and above in Jinxi town, Kunshan city from 2014 November 1st to 20th. Results:94.20% of the elderly people underwent physical examination on time. Age, living conditions, pension situation, physical conditions and time arrangement were significantly correlated(P<0.05) with their compliance. Conclusion:As the representative of developed rural areas of southern Jiangsu, the compliance of elderly people in Jinxi, Kunshan to participate in physical examination is relatively high. Age is the most important factor to affect compliance of free physical examination, so special attention to the elderly should be paid. |
