3DT1WI用于海马多体素波谱扫描定位的初步研究

摘要:

目的:探讨使用二维T2加权成像(2DT2W)和三维T1加权成像(3DT1W)定位对海马多体素磁共振波谱成像(magnetic resonance spectroscopy,MRS)准确性的影响。方法:使用荷兰Philips公司Achieva 3.0 T TX磁共振成像系统,对7名健康志愿者分别采用2DT2W和3DT1W进行海马MRS定位,对比两种定位方法MRS测定的感兴趣区覆盖的海马体积差异,MRS测得的代谢物N-乙酰天门冬氨酸(N-acetylaspartate,NAA)、肌醇(myo-inositol,mI)与内参肌酸(creatine,Cr)的相对浓度(NAA/Cr与mI/Cr)差异以及NAA、mI的信噪比差异。结果:与2DT2W定位比较,3DT1W定位MRS感兴趣区覆盖的海马体积增加,NAA信噪比降低,NAA/Cr升高,但差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05);mI信噪比降低,差异有统计学意义(P=0.028)。结论:使用3DT1W定位MRS有助于提升定位准确性,但可能伴随海马代谢物信噪比降低。更好的定位及更全面的评价方法仍有待进一步研究。

Objective:To compare effect of localizing magnetic resonance spectroscopy(MRS) for hippocampus by using of axial two demensional T2 weighted(2DT2W) imaging and whole brain three dimensional T1 weighted(3DT1W) imaging. Methods:MRI examinations were performed at a 3 tesla scanner(Achieva 3.0T TX, Philips Medical Systems, the Netherlands). Seven healthy participants were enrolled in this study. Hippocampal volume covered by the view of interest(VOI), metabolite relative concentration measured by N-acetylaspartate(NAA) to creatine(Cr) ratio(NAA/Cr) and myo-inositol(mI) to Cr ratio(mI/Cr) and signal-to-noise ratio of the NAA and mI were compared. Results:The 3DT1W approach covered a larger amount of mean hippocampal volume and with a higher NAA/Cr than that of the 2DT2W approach. Signal-to-noise ratio of NAA detected by the 3DT1W approach was lower than that detected by the 2DT2W approach. However, no statistical significance was observed(P>0.05). A lower signal-to-noise ratio of mI was detected by the 3DT1W approach in right hippocampus(P=0.028). Conclusion:The 3DT1W approach might improve the accuracy of localization of hippocampal magnetic resonance spectroscopy. However, reduced signal-to-noise ratio of the metabolites were observed. further researches are needed for a thorough evaluation.
