基质金属蛋白酶的表达与调节在椎间盘退变过程中的作用

摘要:

细胞外基质(ECM)成分改变及破坏是导致椎间盘退变(IDD)的重要原因,目前研究认为,基质金属蛋白酶(MMPs)是引起椎间盘细胞外基质降解的主要酶类.作者对关于椎间盘退变过程中MMPs的表达与调控的文献进行了综述,发现MMPs在退变椎间盘中表达增加,其表达及调控受到一系列因素的综合影响,并与其调控因子构成复杂的网络调节机制,一旦这种调节机制失去平衡,可引起椎间盘ECM降解,并最终引起IDD.若能对MMPs表达调控进行干预,将使得生物治疗椎间盘退变成为可能.
