Objective: To evaluate the curative effect of biofeedback therapy on functional defecation disorders. Methods: Fouty-two patients with functional defecation disorders received biofeedback therapy. The constipation symptoms severity and fecal score according to Bristol method were evaluated after treatment 1 months, 3 months and 6 months later. Results: After follow-up visit of 1 months, 3 months and 6 months treatment, the total effective rate were 73.8%, 78.6% and 71.4%, respectively. Conclusion: Biofeedback is an effective therapy in the mana-gement of functional defecation disorders. |
