Objective To assess the practical value of magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP) in the diagnosis of obstructive jaundice.Method Routine MR and MRCP examination were performed in 87 cases of obstructive jaundice.Results All cases successsfully underwent MRCP examination.28 patients were biliary or pancreatic duct neoplasm.58 patients were calculus of bile duct,one was chronic pancreatitis.Conclusion The results show MRCP,a simple,safe and noninvasive imaging technique,is highly effective in the diagnosis of obstructive jaundice.The quality of the pictures of MRCP is comparable to ERCP.We consider MRCP has higher effect than ERCP does in the diagnosis of obstructive jaundice. |
