Objective To investigate the expression of CyclinD 1,P16 and P21 protein in human gastric carcinoma,to explore the correlation of these proteins expression with biologic behavior of tumors.Method CyclinD 1,P16 and P21 protein expression were studied in formalin fixed, paraffin embedded sections of gastric carcinoma by means of a specific and sensitive immunohistochemical LSAB assay. Results The positive rate of CyclinD 1 in gastric carcinoma tissuse was 55.81%.The expression of CyclinD 1 was positively correlated with grade of tumor differentiation( P <0.05).The positive rate of P16 in gastric carcinoma tissuse was 48.84%.The positive rate of P21 in gastric carcinoma tissuse was 46.51%.The presence of P16 and P21 was negatively correlated with grade of tumor differentiation( P <0.05).There are a high negatively correlation between the expression of CyclinD 1 and P16,between CyclinD 1 and P21.P16 and P21 were non relation. The expression of CyclinD 1,P16 and P21 protein were correlated with the prognosis of patients with gastric carcinoma. Conclusion The overexpression of CyclinD 1,and depressed expression of P16 and P21 are contributing to the occurrence and development of gastric carcinoma.and they can be useful parameteres in studying the occurrence and development of gastric carcinoma. |
