Objective To refine the technique of Lee’s pancreaticoduodenal transplantation in the rat,to overcome hypovolemic shock,to enhance the success rate. Methods The venous anastomosis was reconstructed by a "cuff" anastomosis between the donor portal vein and the recipient left renal vein.Meanwhile, the recipient was injected 2.5~3?ml fresh blood which was taken from the donor.Result Of 65 transplanted rats that were induced diabetes,60 rats survived over 7 days, the success rate was 92.3%.All success rats were euglycemia. Conclusion The refined techniques could eliminate most surgical complications, allowing the pancreaticoduodenal transplantations in the rat with a high degree of success. |
