Objective To study the relationship between serum sFas and disease activity in patients with SLE,and to investigate the pathogenesis of SLE.Method Levels of serum sFas were determined by sandwich ELISA.Activity index of SLE proposed by Becker was used to evaluate the activity of disease. Results (1)Serum sFas levels to those of the patients with active SLE were significantly increased compared with non active SLE and normal controls( P <0.01).(2)There was a significant correlation between the disease activities and serum sFas levels in the patients with active SLE.Conclusion (1)Increase of serum sFas levels in the patients with active SLE is related to the disease activity.(2)sFas can serve as an appropriate mar~ker to evaluate the disease activity of SLE. |
