Objective To study the character and intelligence in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).Method WISC R and EPQ method were used to evaluate the character and intelligence of children with ADHD.Results The neurological and psychological T’s scores obtained by EPQ method in ADHD group were higher than that of the control,while hidden T’s scores were lower in ADHD group.In the WISC R observation,the FIQ of children with ADHD was within the normal range, but was significantly lower than that of the control( P <0.05).There were differences in verbal intelligence quality and performance intelligence quality between ADHD children and the control,which were indicated by low score of mathematics, understanding and decoding.Conclusion The emotion of ADHD children was unstable,and their psychological maturity was delayed.The children with ADHD may have deficiency in verbal understanding, memory and attention. |
