Objective To compare the operation method and clinical effect of nasolacrimal duct intubation and the traditional dacryocystorhinostomy and assess the value of their application.Method Bore the blocked section with driller made of stainless steel and implant line to prop up the duct and drain the tears.Compared the effect to that of dacryocystorhinostomy.Results Nasolacrimal duct intubation was done for 58 cases,57 cases out of which were observed for 2 years and 8 months averagely,the cure rate was 84.2%.In dacryocystorhinostomy group,48 cases were observed for 2 years and 5 months averagely,the cure rate was 90%.There was no obvious difference between the two groups( P >0.05).Conclusion The right operation should be chosen according to the state of illness. |
