Objective To observe the changes of cerebrovascular hemodynamic parameters in early cerebrovascular ather osclerosis using Doppler ultrasonography.Methods Twenty-two male white rabbits were randomly divided into two groups,fifteen were atherosclerosis(AS) group,seven were control(C) group.At 0,4th,8th,12 th week,hemodynamic parameters were measured in the common carotid artery using Doppler ultrasound with spectral analysis.Results In AS group,compared with those at 0 week,PSV,EDV,TAMAX were obviously increased and PI,RI,S/D were decreased at 4th week(P<0.05);PSV,EDV,TAMAX were obviously increased(P<0.05)at 8th week;only PSV,TAMAX were increased(P<0.05)at 12th week.At 4th weeks,PSV,EDV,TAMAX of AS group were higher than those of C group(P<0.05);at 8th week,only PSV of AS group was higher than that of C group(P<0.05);at 12th week,EDV,TAMAX of AS group were lower than those of C group(P<0.05),PI,RI of AS group were higher than those of C group(P<0.05).Conclusion Doppler ultrasonography is valuable in diagnosis of early cerebrovascular atherosclerosis |
