Objective To study the expression of CD1a and E-cadherin molecules and their relationship in the lesions of condyloma acuminatum(CA),to observe the changes of immune microenvironment in the local CA lesions.Methods() The expression of CD1a and E-cadherin was detected by immunohistochemistry method in 38 lesions of CA and 12 specimens of normal prepuce. Results Compared with the normal control, the expression of CD1a and E-cadherin was decreased in CA lesions, respectively.A positive correlationship between the expression of CD1a and the expression of E-cadherin was observed. Conclusion The decreasing expression of CD1a and E-cadherin may cause the deficiency of human papillomavirus(HPV) antigen presentation, and it may play an important role in the process of HPV escaping from immunosurveillance. |
