Objective To compare the relative bioavailability and bioequivalence of self-made polysaccharide iron complex(PIC)and imported niferex. Methods An oral dose of 3.0mg·kg-1 PIC and niferex was given to 8 dogs according randomized two-way crossover design. The serum iron concentrations within 24h were determined with atomic absorption spectrometry and the parameters ρmax,tmax,AUC0~t AUC0~∞and relative bioavailability were calcula. Results ρmax,tmax,AUC0~t,t1/2 and AUC0~∞ for PIC was(2.63±0.94) and(2.29±0.76)mg·L-1,(4.00±0.00) and(4.00±0.00)h,(34.25±11.26) and(34.36±13.65) mg·h·L-1,(20.40±8.36) and(24.81±11.74)h,(64.39±33.99) and(72.86±39.08) mg·h·L-1for niferex, respectively. Conclusion The relative bioavailability of self-made PIC is 107.689% and is a bioequivalent product of niferex. |
