Objective To study the expression of RASSF1 gene in several cell lines and analyze the relationship between transcripts of RASSF1 gene and carcinogenesis.Method The expression of RASSF1 gene in five tumor cell lines was detected by RT-PCR with anchored primers.Results Homology analysis showed that transcript A,D and E had the longest sequence and high homology,indicating that they were the genes that played major roles,transcript B,C,F and G had many sequences deleted,which may result from mutations in the cell.No transcript A,D,E was detected in the tumor cell lines examined,however,transcript B,C,F were detected.Conclusion There is significant difference in the expression of seven transcripts of RASSF1 gene in the five tumor cell lines examined.No transcript A,D,E is detected in the tumor cell lines examined,suggesting that these transcripts may be candidate genes for inhibiting cancers. |
