Objective: To explore the relationship between the levels of gastrointestinal hormones in patients with diabetic nephropathy(DN) at different levels of renal function and gastrointestinal motility disorders. Methods: The levels of biochemistry, radioimmunoassay, blood glucose, insulin levels, glycated hemoglobin, gastrin, motilin, glucagon, and gastric emptying time in 32 cases of patients with DN were detected. Results: Levels of gastrin (P<0.05), motilin (P<0.05), glucagon (P<0.05), and gastric emptying time (P<0.01) were significantly increased and extended in DN Ⅲ-Ⅳ stage group than DN Ⅰ-Ⅱ stage group. Conclusion: Renal function in patients with DN and decrease of gastrointestinal motility are significantly related.Testing the level of gastrointestinal hormonees in patients with DN is meaningful in diagnosis and treatment to patients with DN in different stages. |
