Objective: resting state functional connectivity MRI to observe the normal auditory cortex of young people and the elderly are associated with brain functional connectivity, the differences observed between different age groups. Methods: normal young and the elderly of 30 patients were resting state functional MRI data acquisition, connected with the function of the method were observed in left and right cerebral cortex and the auditory brain areas are related to functional connectivity of different brain map, and compare their differences. Results: 30 cases were in young subjects with bilateral AⅠ areas of the seed point, the brain is activated bilateral temporal network consists mainly of cross-back, superior temporal gyrus, anterior cingulate gyrus, insular cortex, supplementary motor area. Middle-aged group of 30 subjects, respectively, the effective data area of the bilateral A Ⅰ seed point, are activated similar brain networks with the young group, but there are still differences, mainly in the insula, cingulate gyrus and supplementary motor area. Conclusion: young group and in the older group to the bilateral seed point AⅠareas of the auditory function of the system connections are mainly confined withinthe auditory system, aging can affect the network. |
