The mammalian TOB/BTG family is a anti-proliferative proteins family, characterized by the conserved N-teminal domain spanning 104-106 amino acids in BTG domain.Studies have shown that they regulate cell cycle progression in a variety of pathways, involve in tumor occurrence and development, and play an important role in suppressing tumor development. This article focuses on the constitution and biological characteristics of the TOB/BTG family and its relationship with tumors. |
