0bjective：To observe the effect of clomipramine associated complex Xuanju capsule on treatment of the premature ejaculation．Methods：405 patients with premature ejaculation were divided into a treatment group(n=205) and a control group(n =200)，both treated by clomipramine and the former give Xuanju compound capsule in addition. After four weeks of treatment, comparisons were made of the sexual satisfaction between the two groups. Results：The cure rate and the rate of improvement of sexual satisfaction were21.9% and 56% respectively in the treatment group,significantly higher than in the control group. Conclusion： Clomipramine associated complex Xuanju capsule is efective to treat the premature ejaculation．
