Objective To study on non-clinical pharmacokinetics methodology of S-(-)-Ornidazol Disodium Phosphate (called SODP for short). Methods Using the methods established in the paper detected the four plasma samples of Metronidazole, SODP, S-(-)-Ornidazol and ornidazole, respectively. Eight healthy adult rats, in half respectively male and female, were given SODP by the way intravenous and oral administration. Drug-containing plasma samples were collected in different times of and determined concentration using the HPLC method. Results The SODP non-clinical pharmacokinetic method has a good specificity. None of the SODP was detected when SODP was given by intravenous after 2 min or given by oral after 5 min. Conclusion The method that detected the plasma samples of Metronidazole, SODP, S-(-)-Ornidazol is convenient, accurate and practicable. The pharmacokinetic study of SODP is reasonable, and the results may reflect it Pharmacokinetics process. |
