Objective: To investigate the expression patterns of soluble CXCL16(sol-CXCL16) in patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS) and to survey its clinical significance. Methods: Fifty patients with stable angina pectoris,45 with unstable angina and 55 cases with acute myocardial infarction were selected as group of SAP,group of UAP and group of AMI,respectively.Additionally,50 cases without heart disease were selected as normal control group.Serum sol-CXCL16,IL-8 and TNF-α concentrations were measured respectively. All patients underwent selective coronary angiography, and the degree of coronary lesions was evaluated using the integral system. Results: The levels of sol-CXCL16 and the scores of the coronary lesions in UAP group and AMI group were higher than those in SAP group and control group(P<0.05);the levels of IL-8 and TNF-α in the control group,SAP group,UAP group and AMI group showed an increasing trend(P<0.05);sol-CXCL16 was correlated with IL-8,TNF-α and the score(r=0.513,0.446 and 0.654,P<0.05);In multivariate logistic regression, adjusted for other factors, risk factors for ACS were high-level Sol-CXCL16(fOR=1.517),the high-level of TNF-α(fOR=1.927),high score(fOR=1.717),with statistical significance(P<0.05). Conclusion: The study suggests that sol-CXCL16 may have some effect on the development of ACS,and it has a synergistic effect with IL-8 and TNF-α. |
