Objective To investigate the risk factors of radical total hysterectomy. Methods Four hundred and sixteen patients who underwent radical total hysterectomy from January 2000 to June 2006 were analysed for risk factors of postoperative complications. Results The risk factors included elder than 55 years, albumin lower than 35 g·L-1,hemoglobin lower than 80 g·L-1,periaortic lymph nodes dissection and preoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Conclusions These risk factors should be considered carefully preoperatively.Controlling the risk factors properly may reduce the postoperative complication rate after radical total hysterectomy. |
